SCM is delighted to confirm that four of its own will be competing in the Race the Sun Brecon Beacons event next year. Managing Director Jon Boulton will lead a team comprising of Dave Chaffey, Leslie Casey and Mike Crarer.

The event, set in the stunning Brecon Beacons, encompasses a 45 mile cycle ride, a gruelling climb up to the summit of Pen y Fan (all 2,907 feet of it) and a 3km canoe course on the Pontsticill Reservoir.

All proceeds raised will support the vital work of Action Medical Research, an inspirational charity that plays a significant role in funding medical breakthroughs and whose continued success has saved thousands of children’s lives and changed many more (more information can be found at their website www.action.org.uk).
