End of Line Palletising key focus for Food & Beverage Customer
Our middle workshop is currently home to one of our innovative case palletising systems.
The system will ensure that efficiency is improved, output increases and health and safety concerns are removed for this dynamic, forward thinking West Country Brewer!
Utilising a KUKA KR120 PA Robot & SCM’s mechanical box gripper, the system is capable of processing 1000 cases of ale an hour.
SCM “Railway Workshop” a hive of activity
Our “Railway Workshop” is a hive of activity with a number of robot systems at various phases of mechanical & electrical build.
2 imposing KUKA KR500 6 Axis Robots are currently being commissioned for a new SCM customer.
The systems are designed to palletise 160kg rolls of material from a coating machine and include integrated SensoPart camera systems to detect damage to the rolls and read unique barcodes.
The customer will both increase efficiencies and eliminate health and safety concerns with the utilisation of these 2 innovative systems as they move away from the manual handling of such large products.
