Our new apprentice, Steven Boulton

Providing opportunities for the next generation of engineers has always been a core value of SCM and it is delighted to welcome Steven Boulton to its ranks.

SCM’s continued commitment to providing opportunities for promising young people in the local area sees Steven joining it two days a week with his time split between SCM’s offices outside Taunton and Bridgwater College, an institution that prides itself on excellent tuition and strong relationships with companies like SCM.

“With a framework success rate of 90% we ensure all of our apprentices are fully supported throughout their training with a dedicated Training Officer/Assessor. We continue to work closely with Industry and local employers to ensure we meet their training requirements and remain up to date with technical practices and improvements”, says Ron Foord, WBL Team Leader at Bridgwater College.

We look forward to seeing Steven’s skills develop over the coming months.
